Ducks:

The number of people raising ducks is on the raise with an estimate of over 21 million ducks being raised in the United States each year. When starting out in raising ducks you should choose a breed you want to raise. For example for ornamental purposes you can raise Call ducks and for egg laying you can raise Khaki Campbell ducks.

One must have equipment for raising ducks is a brooder which is used to raise baby ducks. And a duck coop is a must because this is where your ducks will call home. A duck coop is where your ducks will get some shelter and lay their eggs.
You can build your duck coop from wood shavings and straws. Just make sure your duck coop is kept dry so bacteria doesn’t form.

To care for your ducks you have to make sure they are proper fed and are warm when temperatures drop. Ducks can be feed pellets and leftover foods. Pellets will provide your ducks with the nutrients they need to stay healthy. Also try to build an artificial pond where your ducks can swim and enjoy themselves.

Rabbits:

Raising rabbits can be fun and interesting but just like every other animal they need care and have to be managed well. So before you buy a rabbit you should learn as much as you can on how to keep them. Rabbits require attention, interaction and love.

There are all sorts of rabbits, small rabbits that can be raised in small apartments and large rabbits that can be suitable for large apartments. They also like running around so you should make sure you have enough space for them to do that.

If you’re going to raise rabbits outdoors then make sure you provide them with comfortable and protective shelter. Their houses can be made from steel cages with water proof roofing.

And since rabbits are vegetarians you can feed them with carrots and other delicious vegetables. But in order for them to grow stronger and become healthier you should feed them rabbit pellets. Don’t forget to give them clean water and clean their cage every once in a while.
